That's the bird that looks like our Great Blue Heron but lacks the brown on the thighs and neck. Beautiful. I love the "launch" shot too. Funny, I saw a Great Blue Heron atop a high power transmission line last year. I think they are about 100 feet tall. I had never seen one up that high before either. Cool series Gwen.
