Lappet-faced Vultures, White-backed Vultures and Marabou Stork on a kill in the Kruger National Park. It was quite far away, we couldn’t see what they were feasting on. Perhaps a Wildebeest (Gnu). One of the richest bird areas of Texel is the salt marsh area de Schorren. It is a flood refuge for many wading birds. Oystercatcher, Bar-tailed Godwit, Eurasian Curlew, Red Knot, Common Redshank, Dunlin, Grey plover, Great Ringed Plover, Greenshank, Spotted Redshank, Pied Avocet, Eurasian Wigeon, Great Cormorant, [...] European Bee-eater I finally managed to tick Bee-eater in Europe.
